Located in the beautiful tropical Guanacaste, Tamarindo is one of the driest regions in Costa Rica.
From November through April, the season is warm, and receives less than 45 centimeters (18 inches) of rain, maintaining with the tropical climate.
Cool winds are welcomed from the northern latitudes cooling down the province December through February.
If you want a beautiful view of tropical and exotic plants in full bloom, the perfect time is during the rainy season from May through October, when the land can receive up to 162 centimeters (65 inches) of rain.
