Wim Hof Breathing Session and Ice Bath Therapy
Min10 – Max 20 Participants
We start the evening by guided breathing work exercises. Breath work is a key for efficient cardiovascular training and recovery, and it helps to regularize our sleep and bring down stress levels among other precious benefits. Cold water exposure pushes us to step out of our comfort zone and connect in depth with our physiology; taking down inflammation and releasing happy hormones, such as dopamine and serotonin. When we experience that curious moment while sitting in the ice bath, many physiological movements start to happen immediately, from releasing amphetamine in our endocrine system giving us the feeling of wakefulness, focus, diligence and mood uplifting, to feeling all our blood flow from the limps to the core of the body to keep us warm , protecting our vital organs like the heart, liver, kidneys and more. Once we decide to stay in the bath and relax, the work is happening! We learn to relax in a stressful situation and control it by simply breathing and relaxing, secondly the body starts to warm itself up by ramping up our metabolism, that’s when the inner fire manifests!!! Improve your mindset and learn how to use it to reprogram yourself; create more inner space and peace. By learning simple tools you will enhance focus, vitality and strength in your daily life. 13 If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, we recommend you finish your showers cold in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relax, focus on your breath, and bring it into a controlled, steady rhythm. The session is conducted by certified Wim Hof therapist Yati Or.
Duration of the workshop: 4 hours, with dinner 6 hours
