Explore one of Costa Rica’s most iconic natural wonders on our La Leona Waterfall Adventure. Your day begins with a scenic drive from your place to Curubandé, where you’ll receive a safety and history briefing before heading out in a 4x4 to the trailhead. From there, enjoy a one-hour hike through the tropical dry forest until reaching the breathtaking La Leona Waterfall—an unforgettable spot to swim, relax, and take amazing photos. After hiking back and returning by 4x4 to the main office, the adventure continues with a short drive to the next stop, where you can enjoy either soothing thermal hot springs or an exciting rafting experience. We recommend the hot springs for a perfect post-waterfall relaxation. Finish the day with a delicious Costa Rican buffet lunch before heading back to Tamarindo around 2:30pm to get back in town at around 4:30pm
